Overview

"Gwanta," the Gwanta word mark, the Gwanta logo, and related trade dress are trademarks and/or registered trademarks of Gwanta Platforms, Inc. and its affiliates (collectively, "Gwanta") in Tanzania and other jurisdictions. Other product or service names, logos, and slogans used on our websites or in our materials may be trademarks of Gwanta or their respective owners.

This page describes how we refer to our marks and is not an exhaustive list of every Gwanta trademark. Absence of a mark from this page does not waive any of Gwanta's rights.

Brand colours

Gwanta’s public palette is four colours. Use only these hex values when reproducing our brand; see also Brandfetch for assets.

Typography

Use Plus Jakarta Sans for customer-facing copy. Body text is about 16–17px with comfortable line spacing; headings are semibold and clearly larger than body text. Do not substitute other type families in branded materials.

Logo variants

Use the full lockup (word mark with symbol) where space allows. Use the compact mark or favicon only when the lockup would be unreadable (for example browser tabs, bookmarks, app icons, or very small UI). Maintain clear space around the logo and sufficient contrast with the background.

Full lockup — colour on a light background (typical marketing and product surfaces).

Full lockup — monochrome light on dark (typical footer or dark UI bands). Do not recolour arbitrarily; match approved light-on-dark treatments.

Compact mark — use when the full lockup cannot be legibly reproduced; preserve aspect ratio and minimum size for clarity.

Favicon — /icon.svg for modern browsers (tab icon); /favicon.ico is linked for legacy clients. PWA / install icons use raster sizes under /icons/.

Dos and don’ts

Do

  • Use only the four brand colours listed above (exact hex values).
  • Use Plus Jakarta Sans at comfortable reading sizes; keep headings clearly larger than body text.
  • Prefer the full lockup; use the compact mark only where the lockup would be illegible.
  • Keep clear space around the logo and enough contrast with the background.
  • When referring to us in text, pair "Gwanta" with a generic product or service name (for example "Gwanta platform"), not as a standalone noun for your own offering.

Don’t

  • Don’t substitute different hex codes, gradients, or tints for the approved palette.
  • Don’t stretch, squeeze, rotate, outline, or add heavy effects to the logo or word mark.
  • Don’t set primary brand copy in unrelated display or novelty typefaces.
  • Don’t suggest endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation without our prior written permission.
  • Don’t place our mark flush against other logos, busy patterns, or low-contrast backgrounds.

Use of Gwanta marks

You may not use Gwanta's trademarks, logos, or branding in a way that suggests endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation with Gwanta without our prior written permission, except as allowed by applicable law (for example, fair nominative use to truthfully refer to Gwanta or our services).

Do not alter Gwanta logos, combine them with other marks, or use them in misleading or disparaging contexts. When referring to Gwanta in text, use the mark as an adjective with a generic product or service name (for example, "Gwanta platform"), not as a noun or verb.

Third-party marks

Names and logos of other companies, products, or services mentioned on our sites may be trademarks of their respective owners. Their inclusion does not imply a relationship with Gwanta beyond what we state in our documentation or agreements.
